“‘Now I bring the first of the fruit of the ground that you, O Lord, have given me.’ You shall set it down before the Lord your God and bow down before the Lord your God.” – Deuteronomy 26:10
The Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops presents Journey through Lent with the Most Rev. Gary Franken, Bishop of Saint Paul. Join us as we reflect on the Scriptures for the Sundays of Lent 2025.
On this First Sunday, Bishop Franken provides a reflection on the Lord’s temptation in the desert.
A joint initiative of the National Liturgy Office, the Office national de liturgie and the Office for Evangelization and Catechesis.
Visit www.cccb.ca/lent every Monday for a new reflection for the scriptures of the following Sunday.
