Liturgy of the Day
Every day, the Church proclaims the same biblical readings throughout the world. The liturgy of the day thus unites us with a prayer far vaster than our own.
To use the day’s readings:
- Notice a word, an image, or a phrase that catches your attention.
- Read the text slowly, without immediately trying to explain everything.
- Ask: “What does this passage reveal about God?”
- Ask: “To what is this Word inviting me today?”
- Conclude with a short prayer.
