Adults baptized in 2018 were also present at this celebration. With this year’s neophytes, it is about fifty people who answered God’s call.
This event gives us a wonderful opportunity to recognize the contribution of newly baptized adults in our diocesan church. After the homily, the archbishop called each neophyte – baptized last year and this year – to welcome them personally. He handed them all a rosary.
All newly and former neophytes came from various cultural backgrounds. It shows the universality of the Church!
May Mary, Queen of the World, walk with them all and guide them towards her Son!
