Becoming Catholic

Maybe you haven’t been baptized. Maybe you were baptized in another Christian tradition. Maybe you’re Catholic, but haven’t received all the sacraments of Christian initiation.

Wherever you’re starting from, you deserve a personal welcome. The catechumenate and other initiation paths offer a place to explore the faith, ask your questions, discern freely, and enter gradually into the life of the Church.

You don’t need to be certain of everything before reaching out. A first conversation isn’t a commitment — it’s simply a chance to tell your story and see what path might be right for you.
