The announcement came on June 13 during the Pope\u2019s first Ordinary Public Consistory, held at the Apostolic Palace in Vatican City.<\/p>\n\n<p>This marks a rare celebration: two laymen from different centuries\u2014each known for their radiant faith and youthful zeal\u2014will be declared saints side by side. Frassati, a 20th-century advocate for justice and solidarity with the poor, and Acutis, a 21st-century digital missionary devoted to the Eucharist, lived decades apart but shared a deep love for Christ and neighbour.
