What is the meaning of my life? How do I love truly? Why suffering? What happens to us after death?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Christian faith doesn&#8217;t replace reason or science. It opens a wider horizon. It invites us to discover that our lives are not an accident, that we are known and loved by God, and that our existence carries a calling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Believing doesn&#8217;t mean understanding everything, or never doubting again. Faith is a free response to a God who makes himself known, above all in Jesus Christ. It grows through prayer, reflection, encounter, the sacraments, and life within a community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p><em>\u201cThe desire for God is written in the human heart, because man is created by God and for God.\u201d<\/em><\/p><cite><em>Catechism of the Catholic Church, no. 27<\/em><\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">In everyday life, faith can help us to:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Look at our lives with hope, even in the midst of uncertainty;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recognize the dignity of every person;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make choices guided by truth and charity;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Get through hardship without believing we&#8217;re alone in it;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find a community to pray, celebrate, and serve alongside.<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Why believe?
